Hiring A Private Investigator Because You Think Your Spouse Is Cheating? Here Are 3 Things You Can Do To Help Speed Things Along

by Brianna Cole

Nobody likes to think that they are being lied to—especially by someone as close as a spouse. If you suspect that your spouse is unfaithful, one of the best ways to determine whether or not you really have a reason to worry is to hire a private investigator. However, hiring the investigator is only part of the process—you can make the investigator's job easier and get your results faster if you're prepared to help in some small ways. Here are things that you should consider.

1.) Who does your spouse work with?

More than 60% of affairs start at work—which makes sense because people tend to become emotionally connected to the people that they see every day. Proximity also gives people opportunity. Who does your spouse talk about at work in a favorable way? Was there someone your spouse used to mention more often before you suspect the affair of starting? A list of names along with as much information as you can provide, such as the person's physical description and anything you know about his or her living situation, can make your investigator's job easier.

2.) What is your spouse's normal routine?

If your spouse has a normal routine that you know he or she follows—or, at least, believe that he or she follows—set it down in detail for the investigator. If your spouse didn't get involved with someone at work, the affair may have started with someone on his or her regular route to and from the office. If your spouse is still following his or her routine, that may give the investigator some other place to look for suspected partners in an illicit relationship. If your spouse's routine is different than you believe, that definitely will give the investigator someplace to start looking. For example, if your spouse always tells you that he stops inside the local Starbucks in order to wake up before work with coffee and a danish, but the investigator finds that he is flying through the drive-through window instead, the investigator is going to know that the extra time is being spent somewhere and start looking.

3.) What makes you believe your spouse is having an affair?

Sometimes it's helpful to sit down and order your thoughts on paper and offer the investigator a narrative of what made you suspect that your spouse is having an affair. Was there a sudden burst of sexual affection from your spouse followed by a just-as-sudden pulling away? Did your spouse suddenly get serious about losing weight and working out, while simultaneously making a bunch of other small changes in rapid progression, including a new hairstyle, different makeup, new clothing style, or just generally putting more effort into his or her appearance after years of not caring?  What brought you to the investigator's doorstep?

Your private investigator may have a few other pieces of information that he or she wants from you, but you should at least have these things ready when you walk through the door. That will give your investigator from a place like She Chases Cheaters somewhere to start almost immediately and help ease your frustrations.

Tips for Starting a Successful Business

I took a lot of business classes while in college, and while I've never gone into the business realm myself, I still take an active interest in successful business tactics. While taking one of my favorite courses in college, my professor required me to create a detailed business plan for a fictional company. During the completion of this assignment, I researched ways to make a new business successful. I discovered that implementing marketing strategies is crucial. I also learned about the value of offering a product or service customers in your target area desire. For example, selling snow plows in Miami, Florida is probably not a great idea. On this blog, I hope you will discover some ingenious tips to help you become a successful entrepreneur.
